Arran Place is also featured in Church - Barony Saint John's and South Beach.

As part of North Ayrshire Council's Heritage Trails, a Blue Plaque to the Majestics was installed on a house in Arran Place in late July 2013.

The Majestics were a fictional, legendary Scottish rock and roll band in the Tutti Frutti television series in 1986..
On their Silver Jubilee tour, they stayed in this house in Ardrossan for their performance at the Club Paradiso, Ardrossan.
Part of the series was recorded in this house.
