Building site for Asda Store, Harbour Street 3                                                  22 September 2006

A sign, indicating that an Asda Store would be built on the ground bordered by Harbour Street and Herald Street, was erected on 22 September 2006.

Preparation of the ground for the Asda Store started on 1 March 2007 and the first steelwork was erected on 10 May 2007. The store was opened by seven year old Murray Scott on 10 September 2007.
