The street sign that was installed on 30 July 2008 contained a mistake with a space between Blue and bell. A replacement sign was installed on 26 March 2009.

Preparation of Bluebell Gardens off Dalry Road started on 27 August 2007. Lovell Partnerships built thirty-three terraced and semi-detached houses for Cunninghame Housing Association's Homestake scheme. The project was finished in late 2009.
