Every Easter Sunday, families gather on the Castle Hill to socialise and roll eggs. On Easter Sunday 2017, Ardrossan Castle Heritage Society had a presence on the Hill to advertise the forthcoming Ardrossan Castle Carnival on 17 June 2017, display a replica sarcophogus lid in the church ruins and open the Castle gate to allow access to visitors.
