Sorbie Farm took part in Open Farm Sunday on 7 June 2009. Sorbie Farm Dairies started processing and bottling its own milk in 2008. It provides a 'Cow to Door in 24' service. Visitors saw how the feed for cows is grown, assisted with feeding the animals, saw live milkings, observed the processing and bottling plant and saw how animal waste is used to provide fuel to the whole farm via its biogas plant. There were organised walks, a bouncy castle, tractor and trailer rides and stalls selling local produce. Admission was free but visitors had the opportunity to donate to James McFarlane School.

Sorbie Farm produce is sold at Sorbie Farm Store.
