Howden's Joinery Company opened in September 2016.

The Howden's Joinery Company refurbished the McCrindle Group Factory in June and July 2016. The McCrindle Group no longer exists. It was an engineering and shipbuilding company that occupied this site from 1969 till the late 1980s. AE Car and Van Hire traded from here in 2009.
