Jack
Miller's was called the Clyde Estuary Hotel until about 1987. It closed in the
1990s and lay derelict till 2009. If you know more accurate dates,

In May 2009, it was acquired by the Irvine
Bay Regeneration Company for redevelopment as a business centre and retail,
residential and leisure units. Renovation by McLaughlin
Construction started on 26 October 2009. The process of removing paint to
expose the original stonework started on 3 February 2010. Scaffolding was erected
on 29 March 2010 and removed in late August 2010. The project finished in October
2010.
On
25 November 2010, the refurbished building opened as the Phoenix
Art Gallery. The Gallery closed in October 2012 and Clyde
Studios took over the building in late July 2013.
