Lauriston Milestone, South Crescent Road 1                                                    23 September 2006

This milestone stands outside the Lauriston Hotel. The inscription has become eroded but it indicates that Ardrossan is 1/2 mile away and Kilwinning is 4 3/4 miles away. Irvine is also mentioned.
