The Howden's Joinery Company refurbished the McCrindle Group Factory between June and September 2016 when the upgraded premises was opened. The McCrindle Group no longer exists. It was an engineering and shipbuilding company that occupied this site from 1969 till the late 1980s. AE Car and Van Hire traded from here in 2009.
