On 28 July 2014, work started on the first phase of the Quayside Development at the Clyde Marina. Irvine Bay Regeneration Company is making a three-storey building with offices on the upper two floors with the ground floor flexible for retail or leisure use or a restaurant. Work is due to be completed by June 2015.
