Ardrossan Sea Cadets were founded in 1992.

On 10 December 2008, the cadets were given a cheque for £300 from sales of the Ardrossan in 2007 DVD. The DVD takes the viewer on a two and a quarter hour journey through Ardrossan to see the town as it was in the year 2007.
