WEE DUBLIN
Wee Dublin was
the name given by local people to Paisley
Street in the late nineteenth century till the 1940s. This was because most
of its inhabitants were Irish immigrants. The Ardrossan
and Saltcoats Herald featured reminiscences of Wee Dublin on several occasions
in the 1930s. If you have more information on Wee
Dublin, please contact WebsiteAuthor@ArdrossanPhotographs.net.
