Ardrossan Wind Farm, B780 road to Dalry 1                                 30 September 2003

Construction work on the Wind Farm, on Rowanside Hills near Busbie Muir Reservoir,
started in August 2003.  It was formally opened by Lewis Macdonald,
Deputy Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning on 10 August 2004.

The unloading, storage and transportation of the rotor blades and cones can be seen in
Dalry Road 7, Eglinton Road 3 and Harbour 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
