Youth Centre, Stanley Road 5                                                                                                              13 November 2015

The Red Phone Box Museum was launched at a ceremony on 13 November 2015.

These premises were part of Stanley School until the early 1980s when they became the property of Ardrossan Community Theatre (ACT1), an amateur dramatics group. It was open to juniors and adults and put on plays, drama workshops and a pantomime in the Civic Centre in January of each year. In 1990, a group of young people took over the building for a Youth Centre. In 2002, they raised £150000 to build new premises that are used by over 150 young people a week.
